Original green cloth boards titled in gilt to front board, ruled in blind to boards. 111pp. Light bumping and scuffing to the edges and extremities of the cloth, purely cosmetic, with some slight rubbing to the cheap gilt; internally clean with ex-library stamping and residue to pastedowns and flyleaves, color general title page, illustrated throughout. A very good, clean copy. A rather elegant little study, with ubiquitous Rubaiyat quote, of the history and development of that most iconic element of Cairo's skyline, the minaret.
