Full-color Rackham frontispiece and appendix "Illustrations from Arthur Rackham's First Book and Advertisements," consisting of 8 additional black and white illustrations. The spine and spine gilt have some fading, there is a slight lip at the spine head from shelving, and the bottom front cover corner has some light wear, but otherwise the book is in very nice shape, clean and bright. Housed in a good slipcase with some splitting and fraying to the extremities, but still solid and holding. A charming package for Rackham's most comprehensive bibliography of the time. In uncertain economic times, what better way to invest your hard-earned money than in items of lasting value you can hold in hand and enjoy?
