Card Covers. First Edition, First Printing. pp. 24. 4to., measuring 8.5" x 11". Illustrated, bright-yellow, card covers held with original black utilitarian tape. Illustrated with many black-and-white drawings, charts, illustrations, etc. Bright, clean, and unmarked; near fine. Magicians and Mentalists often resort to the use of common paper bags to produce various effects without really appreciating the important role such bags can play in magic and mentalism. Common paper bags do not attract any special attention, and if they are properly gimmicked and handled in a casual manner their use appears to be incidental. A paper bag can be used for vanishes, productions, exchanges, forces and other effects where a Change Bag or other such device would appear to be an obvious piece of magical apparatus.
