A 'quick character sketch' of Churchill's wartime activities. A UK edition. 144 pages, 5" X 7-1/2", includes 15 photos. Blue cloth covered boards. No dust jacket. Boards are flat, some faint smudges and spotting on the front and back panels, all lettering on the spine is intact and legible. Former owner's name in fountain pen ink on the front endpaper, dated June 1945. No further writing besides that. A few dots of age foxing on some of the text pages, as well as age tanning throughout, to be expected considering the wartime paper used. Binding is tight. Not a library discard. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
