Binding restoration by Sandra Good San Anselmo in 2003.[4], 105 pp. With 50 numbered lithographed plates showing farms, buildings, ranch…es, towns, etc., some double-page; 9 unnumbered lithographed plates with multiple portraits of citizenry; 6 hand-colored lithographed maps, 5 of them double-page. . Massive and rare atlas and view book of Yolo County with significant historical and descriptive text. The plates are original stone lithographs.The striking views show the various farms, ranches, towns, etc., with much livestock, fine horses, and more. The scenic plates are numbered 1 to 49, with a duplicate of plate 19 to reach the complement of 50. Previous ownership inscription inside front cover: "This atlas was originally owned by the family of Dr. Strong at one time a practicing physician in Woodland & was personally acquainted with many of the old Yolo County pioneer familys.". Subsequent owners were Warren Yeend of Los Altos Hills, CA and Barbara Woolsey of Davis, CA.Invoices for purchases ad restoration loosely inserted.OCLC Number / Unique Identifier:6648136.Frank T.
