No Binding. Condición: Very Good. John Perkins, Jr. La.; R. L. Montague, Va.; Wm. P. Chilton, Ala.; Geo. N. Lester, Ga. [Confederate Government]. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES report, that they have Bears an oval stamp ("Record Division, War Department," with Rebel Archives not visible at cente…r).Toned with scattered flecks from impurities in the paperstock, a very good copy. Parrish & Willingham 869. Pamphlet. P&W follow their presumed dating [1865] with a query mark. The committee "considered the proposition submitted to them for changing the rule requiring a vote of two-thirds, instead of a majority, of members, to take the House from open into secret session, and are of opinion that its adoption would not be for the public interest." Please email with questions or to request photos. This Confederate Imprint is one of more than 100 recently acquired, most with 'Rebel Archives' stamp on the cover, indicating that these were the actual copies seized by the Union Army at the end of the Civil War. A remarkable collection.

Softcover. Condición: Near Fine. First edition thus. Cover illustration by Keane. Folio. Single bifolium making four pages. Toning, else near fine. For voice and piano. Supplement to *The San Francisco Examiner*, Sunday, December 5, 1897. The lyrics celebrate Miss Ambolena Phillipena Snow, "the boys all love her so." Unlike this… edition, the original publication of this song, published just one year prior by The S. Brainard's Sons Co., featured a rather tasteful cover illustration, leading one to wonder why exactly Keane and *The Examiner* felt the need to go so far in the other direction. *OCLC* locates four holdings of this edition.
