Album with 96 original photographs, album size 26 x 34 cm, 6 cm thick. Consists of 48 board-like leaves with 96 tipped on original photographs ( tipped on recto & verso on the leaves). Photo size is 220 x 280 mm ( allmost all are landscape format ). The album is in very good condition as are the photographs; only 2 or 3 are slightly faded, 3 showing a tear which was there before they were tipped on to the leaf. 2 of the album leaves have come loose. The album has a half leather back, the leaves are kept together with two steel pins. The photographs can be dated between 1875 and 1895. Most of them are albumine prints, 7 are salt prints.
