Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good Minus. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). I'm listing this book because someone who has an interest in Connecticut law and politics may be interested in the signature and inscription. It reads 'To Jim, It's been a pleasure to serve with you! Peace, Irv.' At the top right-hand corner of the page is penned the name Stolberg. Irv Stolberg was a former Speaker of the Connecticut House Of Representatives. The book came from the home of James F. Bingham who served three terms in the Connecticut House of Representatives. He went on to serve as a Superior Court judge in Connecticut. The book is in excellent condition. The covers are exceptionally clean and have little to no wear. The book is square, straight, and very solidly bound from cover to cover, no binding issues. The pages are exceptionally clean. I didn't see any soiling at all. I didn't see any creasing or dogeared corners. There are no markings. And with the exception of the aforementioned signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket has a little bit of wear, a tear and crease off the top edge of the front cover, a tiny tear at the juncture of the front and spine also off the top edge and a similarly tiny tear off the bottom edge between the front cover and spine. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket will be fitted with a protective cover. 'A collection of thirty personal accounts by individuals involved in the origin, filing, passage, and signing into law of the Massachusetts Shea Bill, which challenges the right of the President to send American troops to war without Congressional consent.'.
