It is not an ex-library copy. Contents include several sections, such as Old Tales (including the well-known Little Water Fairy stories by Charles Kingsley) and many more; Making Things and Things to Do (including How to Set a Table, A Japanese Kite); Having Fun by Doing Things (Guessing Noses, How to Make a Lead Pencil Stand on the Tip(); In Other Lands (Indian Pottery, A Sea Diver); and Makers of Our Country (George Washington's Boyhood, Last Battle of the Revolution). It is one of the most fascinating children's books we have ever encountered. The text block is bright, and the covers retain their dark green color with orange and black accents.
