La mia metodologia è sempre la stessa: mi concentro sulla lettura degli indizi, sia quelli visivi che quelli intercettati durante lo studio della letteratura sul territorio. Ho pensato così di creare quattro cataloghi di immagini, quattro capitoli che corrispondono ad altrettante storie: i ritratti di chi lavora all'interno di questo immenso cantiere; un capitolo di fotografie topografiche che documenta la trasformazione del territorio; un lavoro di 'still-life' che repertizza in modo scientifico alcuni oggetti emersi dai fondali; e infine una sequenza in bianco e nero che guarda alle nuove terre emerse come si trattasse di una fotografia lunare, marziana, evocando il linguaggio delle prime fotografie di un pianeta alieno.
