Boldly signed by Henry Fox, George Lyttelton, and Richard Arundell as the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury. All three of these men would eventually be knighted. Very good(+) condition. British politician and Secretary of War best remembered for dispatching a large military force under the command of General Braddock to America with the intention of driving the French out of Ohio. Better known as the French and Indian War, the expedition culminated into the annihilation of the General and most of his forces (July 1755). This event would have everlasting consequences for both Britain and the American Colonies as it would cost Fox the office of Prime Minister and also launch the military career of Braddock%u2019s youngest officer, George Washington.
