Provides for a brief introductory message by Alan Priest (Curator of Far Eastern Art), an introductory note by Hu Shih (Professor of Chinese Philosophy, Dean of the College of Letters of the National University of Peking, and formerly Chinese Ambassador to the United States) followed by a written reproduction of a lecture given by Kao Wêng at Linagan University. Also includes a concise biography of Wêng by various contributors. Replete with black and white photographs, facsimiles of the paintings comprising the exhibition. Lightest edgewear, scattered foxing confined to the margins of the title page otherwise the contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding; near fine. Scarce.
