Ms captioned "6 Squadron Crest / Mosul Iraq" to the back, this shows the crest finely and grandly carved into a large rock in the desert, with 6 sun-helmeted figures seated around it. Undated, but the Squadron was based in Iraq during 1919-29 before transferring to Egypt. The accompanying history is in its illustrated wraps 17x24cm, printed in Nicosia by Zavallis Press, (3), 71pp with several b/w photos. Covers good, a little worn. Interiors very good.
