CHiPs was a popular crime drama series about the lives of two motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol (CHP), played by Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada, and aired on NBC, premiering on September 15, 1977, and ran for 139 episodes over six seasons before ending on May 1, 1983. In this episode a series of jewelry robberies are committed by thieves in city trucks, and Ponch (Estrada), recovering in the hospital, believes he may have solved the crimes. Set in and shot on location in California. Untitled MGM Television wrappers with a die-cut window. Title page present, dated August 17, 1979, noted as Final DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Larry Alexander and Revisions by William D. Gordon and James Doherty. 62 leaves, with last page of text numbered 58. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only.
