Interior pages are tanned and lightly spotted, but free of marginalia. Edited by Wilson's son-in-law, James Frederick Ferrier. John Wilson FRSE (1785-1854) was a Scottish advocate, literary critic and author, and a professor of Moral Philosophy at Edinburgh University from 1820-1851.
