Flat- signed by the author/photographer, also inscribed below (Cy and ?). I've provided a photograph of the signed page. Both this book and another that I have just listed (women's work: textile art from the bauhaus) both contain separate notes from or referencing a Hooper or Hoopie. In this book there is also a slip of paper that says 'Hooper (Baha)'. Putting those two words together in a Google Search brought me to a Hooper Dunbar. It seems a reasonable guess that he was the previous owner of both of these books. If that interests, you can read his Wikipedia Profile. As you can see from the photographs, the red covers of the book are in very nice condition. The gilt lettering on the front and spine is very bright. The covers are quite clean and don't have any conspicuous wear. The front inside cover and its end paper and the rear inside cover and its end paper are made up of two different color photographs. They are both in very good condition. This book is solidly bound from beginning to end, no cracks or spaces between pages or covers and pages. I didn't see any creasing or dogeared corners. I didn't see any soiling, however there is some sun toning at the margins. And the blank of verso of the signed limitation page as well as the title page have a little bit of light background spotting. There are no markings in this book. No attachments. And with the exception of the author's signature and signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in this book. You can see the dust jacket in the first couple of photographs. It is in decent condition, but has a few issues so it is rated only Good. You can see that there is a small loss at the bottom of the spine and just adjacent to it at the bottom of the rear cover. There are also two small tears and a tiny bit of loss at the top of the spine, and there is some smooth scuffing on the rear cover, also a few very tiny tears off the top edge of the rear. The jacket is clean. It is not clipped. There is a tiny tear at the top edge of the front flap. I will fit the jacket with a protective cover after the photographs are scanned. I've priced this signed limited edition quite modestly. Inscribed by Author(s).
