There is some corner bumping and edge wear and the material has chipped. White numbers have been inked on the spine and there is slight spotting on the boards. Label affixed to the front end paper and the front hinge has seperated. Text is unmarked but has yellowed due to age. Numerous line illustrations and black and white photographs. Color illustration with tissue opposite of title page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.

The illustrator, Carl Eytel, was a GermanAmerican artist who lived in Palm Springs, California, and built his reputation for paintings and drawings of desert landscapes.
