The date of publication is on the reverse side of the title page, 'First Published 1936.' There are 144 pages, looking clean and fully readable. Pages 143-144 is a printed list to be filled in by the reader, Speedmen of the World How Now ---? A previous owner has headed the columns Name Record Date, only two entries have been made, minor tear to the edge of that particular page. Text presented in two columns. Fully illustrated throughout in black and white, interesting and exciting photographs showing the competitive nature of speed and those who have sought to be fastest. The tension and triumphs, the dangers and dedication. Well known speed successes and those who made the record books.
