Interior has occasional small pencil marginalia, along with bookplate and signature of G.C.Scoggin including a date of May 1908, Leipzig. Noted classicist and author Gilbert Campbell Scoggin had finished his doctoral work in the US and had gone to Leipzig to work in 1907-1908, before returning home. Nice original copy with a nice association.; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall.
