Allen and published at Clarendon Press, Oxford, UK, 1913. 12mo. xxiii, 1-188p. First thus. Very good book in good but RARE dust jacket. Fr…ontispiece with tissue-guard. White paper covered boards with blind-stamped border scoring and corner decorations on front and back panels; small additional decoration in center of front panel. Five section flat spine with black lettering. Side and lower external edges are untrimmed. Spine is sunned, board panels are lightly soiled. Corners at head of board spine have small chips; lower edge at tail of spine is split and back corner has a 1/4" crack. Shadow transfers on end papers. Text pages are minimally age-toned else internally clean. Text block is snug. RARE tissue paper dust jacket is soiled overall. Spine is heavily sunned. The lower 1 1/2" is missing at tail of spine. Additional loss across width at head of spine and adjacent upper edges of approximately 1 1/8" by 1/4" and additional loss of 1/4" at back corner. Upper right front fore-edge corner has loss of 1/2 by 3/8". Lower edge of back cover has horizontal creases, several chips, a 3/4" closed vertical tear to the left of center, and loss from rubs on the lower fore-edge corner.
