Hardcover. Condición: Good for Age. No Jacket. various Ilustrador. This copy has some light corner bumping and rubbing of the covers. There is some light foxing and shadowing with age. Black and white illustrations throughout. Owner's mark neatly inked upper fep. Interior text is tight in binding.

First edition thus. Original black cloth with titles in blue and gilt on the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips very slightly rubbed. There is some foxing to the closed text-block edge and a small bookseller's label on the front pastedown, the contents are otherwise clean and without stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a couple of short closed tears and is a little dusty and spotted to the extremities. Not price-clipped (£3.50 on the front flap) A collection of the Elizabethan poet Thomas Compion's works in English and Latin, with translations.
