Listings in the first two volumes include biographical information about each author and a bibliographic list of their publications. The third volume lists magazines with issue checklists, paperback authors, paperback publishers, lists of pseudonyms, real names of authors, series, connected stories and sequels, films, radio shows, television shows and much more. This set is worn but entirely sturdy and usable. All three volumes have sturdy hinges and are not cocked. Pages are generally clean but there are a few marks or notations in pencil. The book's exteriors are moderately soiled and their spines are a bit darkened from sun exposure. A few cover corners are lightly bumped but all are a bit worn, a few with fraying.
