First edition hardback, large paper edition? Possibly lacking a half title but otherwise complete with all six plates as called for. The book is soundly bound in rubbed printers boards with a later cloth respine. The frontispiece plate has a tear wit hout loss, it and the other plates have some foxing. The edges of the pages are… uncut and browning, the texts are otherwise clean and crisp. Illustrated, xxv +[3] + 304 + [54].
