All moveables are in good working order. Inner hinges have been neatly repaired, and a few rivets have been replaced; there is fingering and soil on the pages, the covers are rubbed and worn .Overall it is a very good copy of an extremely scarce early moveable. Montanaro, p. 259, opines that this was probably published in 1857. Our copy has an inscription dated 1861. .

A very clean copy , all moveables working, a couple stick a little but do work and the last one 'Here is a Bull', has been repaired, the original string has been tied around the bull s neck which has caused a horizontal tear along the paper. Bound in original cloth-backed pictorial boards, the rear advertising Dean & Son s One Shilling Juvenile Coloured Picture Toy Books And Children s Moveable Coloured Picture Books. The edges to the boards a little worn as usual with some light , odd fox mark inside, but generally a very good clean copy of a book which is usually found very worn and incomplete/ damaged. Size 255 x 175 mm (10 x 6.75 inches).
