Heavy, sturdy book, brown cloth, raised gilt circular design at center front, gilt lettering fine on spine, covers very loose due to bad damage inside covers and adjacent end papers along spines, 431 lightly browned pages. Includes small sheet with foxing: "Certificate of Membership in St. Joseph's Union until March 1, 1898," with illustrations of the Virgin Mary on other side. Dark red color inside covers and adjacent end papers with creases and some tears. Slight surface wear to tips and spine edges. Fair.
