Contains a lot of hard-to-find material, especially on Irish in the Continental Army of the American Revolution. The author served as a Captain in the famous Irish Brigade of the Union Army during the Civil War, and was part of the Fenian Rising and Manchester Martyr affair during the insurrection of the Irish against the English.
