A group of white Europeans is seated at the left. The Kingdom of Whydah (aka Hueda, Whidah, Ajuda, Ouidah, Whidaw, Juida, and Juda) was a kingdom on the West African coast in what is now Benin. The artist is not identified, but is likely Charles Nicolas Cochin - The Younger, or Jacques-Nicolas Bellin; the engraver of most of the plates in this volume is Frans de Bakker.
