sehr guter Zustand, 152 S., kart. Karl Stülpner, eigentlich Carl Heinrich Stilpner, (1762-1841) war ein erzgebirgischer Soldat, Wilderer, Schmuggler, Fabrikant und Lebenskünstler. Literarisch ausgeschmückte zeitgenössische Biographien und nachfolgend noch freiere Darstellungen seiner Lebensgeschichte in Erzählungen, Romanen, volkstümlichen Theaterstücken und schließlich Verfilmungen haben zu einer umfangreichen Legendenbildung geführt und dazu beigetragen, dass Stülpner in seiner Heimatregion noch heute als Volksheld angesehen und gelegentlich als sächsischer Robin Hood" bezeichnet wird. Nur wenige Details aus Karl Stülpners Lebenslauf sind urkundlich belegbar. Ein großer Teil der überlieferten Geschichten basiert allein auf den eher literarischen als dokumentarischen Werken seiner Zeitgenossen Friedrich von Sydow und Carl Heinrich Wilhelm Schönberg, der allerdings behauptete, Stülpner selbst habe diese Darstellung noch autorisiert.
