Condition; decorative colour illustrated binding, good with some dirt/ageing, one corner tip creasing. Contents very good, and clean, tiny corner tip folding, gift inscription inside front Christmas 1922. Front and Title pages states by Elsie Blomfield, so looks like written by Elsie Blomfield, also the line drawings looks as are by her too as some initialled EB , Elsie Blomfield was known an illustrator rather than an author. The colour Frontispiece is by Agnes Richardson (signed within ). At time of listing was unable to find another copy anywhere even BL does not list a copy. And none for sale, Amazon list it, but do not have any, but date it as 1900. So very rare. Size: 23 x 22cm.appox.
