This book has great "patchwork" style color illustrations by the famous illustrator Fern Bisel Peat. This 1939 children's book is clean, solid and in great shape! This hardcover book has some awesome illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or tears. There is a dedication written on the title page. The copyright page shows 1939 as the only date. The covers are in great shape with some light soiling and just a hint of edgewear. The paper over the spine is fully intact. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket on this old book and it looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
