Añadir al carritoSoftcover. Condición: Good. Later printing. Quarto. Single bifolium with a single sheet insert making six pages. The bifolium is separated along the fold but both leaves are present, edgewear, and some dampstaining the edge of the front cover partially affecting the interior, a complete but good only copy. For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "Don't Bring Me Posies - 3." The back cover features a sample of "The Yankee Doodle Blues" by Irving Caesar, B.G. De Sylva, and George Gershwin. The front cover features a rather haunting photo of clowns holding saxophones, with one in blackface. Above the photo reads, "The novelty song sensation featured by The Six Brown Brothers in Chas. Dillingham's Musical Production 'Tip-Top' with Fred Stone.".

Añadir al carritoSoftcover. Condición: Good. First American edition thus. Quarto. Single bifolium with a single-sheet-insert making six pages. Edgewear including nicks and tears, creasing and toning to the insert, and foxing to the exterior, a complete but good only copy. For voice and piano. Plate number, 7529-4. A cute song from one lover to another rejecting the overly glamorized concepts of romance found in films and stories with "all their scenes of love laid in a garden 'neath the moon," opting instead for things that are "simple and few/A cup of coffee, a sandwich and you." We know of an edition with a variant cover with the addition of ukulele accompaniment but are unaware of any precedence.
