Eleven engravings are full page including Turkey, Wood Pewee and Tyrant Flycatcher, Carolina Parakeets, Snowy Owl, Bald Eagle, Sparrow Hawk, American Partridge, Prairie Hen, American Flamingo, Rail and Canvasback Duck. The hand-colored engravings are very nice. Quarterbound leather with brown cloth. Leather on spine has been added recently - the brown cloth covered boards are original. Leather title in gilt from the original binding has been attached to spine. Top page edges gilt. Title page missing but has been replaced with a laid-in page scanned from another copy . Last page - 265 - has bottom half of page missing so likewise a scanned copy has been laid in. Frontispiece is a hand colored engraving of a turkey. Good condition.
