Raro. Si tratta di un'arguta parodia e riscrittura in chiave comica del mito classico di Elena di Troia, un lavoro nato dalla passione dei due giovani per il gioco e la sperimentazione con le parole. Emanuele Artom nacque nel 1915 a Torino in una famiglia colta e benestante. Studiò al liceo D'Azeglio con Augusto Monti e poi si iscrisse a Lettere all'Università di Torino, interessandosi prima alla storia antica e poi al Risorgimento. Collaborò con ambienti culturali importanti, come la casa editrice Giulio Einaudi Editore, e intrattenne rapporti con figure come Cesare Pavese e Natalia Ginzburg. Dopo l'8 settembre 1943 scelse subito la lotta partigiana nelle valli valdesi. Durante i rastrellamenti tedeschi del marzo 1944 fu catturato insieme ai compagni e imprigionato alle Carceri Nuove di Torino, dove subì torture feroci. Morì il 7 aprile 1944, poco prima di compiere 29 anni. Il suo corpo non venne mai ritrovato.
