Añadir al carritoCondición: VERY GOOD. Limited, numbered first edition. A collection of poems by this writer who is best known for her work as a sex researcher, criminologist and social scientist, published the same year as her book "Protection of Women and Children in Soviet Russia." Most of these poems are intensely personal, but there are glimpses of her professional life - One poem is addressed to "Lenin - You haunt me / day and night/ . . . and you are right /for I am traveling with the oppressing classes," and another is dedicated to Flo "They say you are / a wicked woman, Flo,/ because you are a tart. " #75 out of a total edition of 250. 35 pp plus an index of first lines and a colophon which notes that this was printed on an Albion hand press by Edward Walters and Geoffrey Miller. The illustrations are from wood blocks drawn and engraved by Geoffrey Miller. An appealing small volume. Very good in very pale blue illustrated boards over a coarse oatmeal linen cloth spine (minor toning to the covers, contents just about fine).
