The book was originally published in the US by Rand McNally in 1939 and appeared in the UK in this format in 1943 as the first entry in the new Hutchinson's Girls' Adventure Series. This edition is decidedly more scarce than the U.S. edition and especially so in jacket. 8vo, 227pp. Illustrations by Armstrong Sperry. Red cloth boards lettered in yellow in illustrated jacket. Spine cocked, corners a touch worn in jacket with chipping at spine ends, rubbing along folds and edge wear. Very good.
