Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 5.5" x 8.5". pp. XII, 20 hand-colored engravings and 200 bw woodcuts in total. Cover: Binding by Root & Son in tan leather with gilt decoration and gilt edging to paper on all three sides. Front and back covers are VG with some chipping at edges and corners. Spines are dry and alligatoring; Vol. 1 cover is splitting and the leather is torn and coming up in two spots (see phtots). Interiors are bright, tight and clean with light age toning to first few pages of each volume.
