Condición: Befriedigend. 2 Reisepässe Preußen 1839/40 für Philologen Gustav Parthey (1798-1872); Signaturen Innenminister Gustav von Rochow Zwei dekorative Reisepässe des Königreichs Preußen, ausgestellt und eigenhändig signiert vom Preußischen Innenminister Gustav von Rochow (1792-1847) für den in Berlin wohnhafte…n Philologen und Kunsthistoriker Gustav Parthey (1798-1872), der am Rand ebenfalls jeweils eigenhändig signiert hat. Beide Reisen werden "zum Vergnügen" gemacht. --- Die erste Reise (Juni / Juli 1839) unternimmt Parthey alleine; sie führt von Berlin über Frankfurt am Main, Bad Ems und Amsterdam. Rückseitig mit 11 Stempeln der verschiedenen Passstellen, darunter die Niederländische Botschaft in Berlin. --- Die zweite Reise (Juni bis August 1840) unternimmt Parthey mit seiner Ehefrau und seinen drei Kindern (11-13 Jahre alt), die namentlich aufgeführt werden. Die Reise führt über Leipzig nach Karlsbad, Salzburg, Wien, Triest, Venedig und Mailand. Rückseitig mit 17 Stempeln der verschiedenen Passstellen, u.a. von der österreichischen Botschaft in Berlin. Berlin 1839/40 Handschriftlich ausgefüllte Vordrucke (43,8 x 34 cm), datiert Berlin, den 4. Juni 1839 und 29. Mai 1840. Jeweils eigenhändig signiert von Gustav von Rochow und Gustav Parthey. --- Zustand: Dokumente längs und quer gefaltet, etwas fleckig, teils mit leichten Randschäden. Gustav Adolf Rochus von Rochow (geb. 1. Oktober 1792 auf Schloss Nennhausen bei Rathenow; gest. 11. September 1847 auf Schloss Reckahn, Kreis Zauch-Belzig) war königlich preußischer Innen- und Staatsminister. Er gilt als Reformer des preußischen Zuchthauswesens, war Verfasser des preußischen Eisenbahngesetzes und Mitinitiator der Gründung des Dampfkesselüberwachungsvereins (ein Vorläufer des TÜV). --- Gustav Friedrich Konstantin Parthey (geb. 27. Oktober 1798 in Berlin; gest. 2. April 1872 in Rom) war ein deutscher Philologe und Kunsthistoriker. Leben: Gustav Parthey war der Sohn von Daniel Friedrich Parthey (1745-1822), Hofrat im Generalfinanzdirektorium in Berlin, und von Wilhelmine Nicolai (gest. 1803), der ältesten Tochter von Friedrich Nicolai. Seine Schwester Lili (1800-1829) heiratete den Komponisten Bernhard Klein. Parthey absolvierte das Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster in Berlin. Später studierte er Philosophie und Altertumskunde in Berlin und Heidelberg, wo er 1820 promovierte. In den folgenden Jahren bereiste er Frankreich, England, Italien, Griechenland und den Orient. 1824 heiratete er Wilhelmine Mitterbacher aus Karlsbad. Ab 1825 lebte er wieder in Berlin. Materielle Sorgen kannte er aufgrund der privilegierten Stellung seiner Familie nie. Parthey leitete die Nicolaische Buchhandlung und beschäftigte sich als Privatgelehrter mit kunst- und kulturgeschichtlichen Studien. Er veröffentlichte mehrere Arbeiten. Mitgliedschaften: Gustav Parthey war Mitglied der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft. 1857 wurde er Mitglied der Berliner Akademie der Wissenschaften. (Quelle: wikipedia.).
