Mumey], One page reproduction inside blue paper folder inside hard binding. Introduction printed on front paste down of outside folder. Quarter red buckram and blue boards with gilt lettering. Near fine except for light staining on front left of front cover Mumey says in his notes: "This report was signed by three important newspapermen and was published by the Rocky Mountain News as an EXTRA. It was circulated throughout the region and was copid by newspapers over the entire nation. It caused a sensation and created a mad rush across the Plains to the Gold Fields of Colorado, which continued for many years being partially interrupted by the outbreak of the Civil War." 400 copies signed by Mumey.
