Lumen

Julian C. Williams is a writer and attorney in Philadelphia. He conceived and edited Let Us Be Met, an illustrated collection of letters written to people who could not write back, among them Kushim, the first person in history to sign his name, Ada Lovelace, and Alan Turing, and founded The Lumen Press to publish it. The letters were written by Lumen, an artificial intelligence, a fact disclosed on the book’s copyright page and cover.
