Tyronne Ramella

Tyronne T Ramella is an author, senior risk and compliance professional, financial education advocate and executive coach whose work examines money through the realities of income, debt, financial resilience, risk and decision-making.

Born in South Africa and now based in the United Kingdom, Tyronne’s relationship with money has been shaped by both professional experience and personal circumstance. After relocating to Britain and rebuilding financially from the ground up, he developed a career across financial services, financial technology, governance, regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention and risk management.

His professional background influences the way he approaches personal finance. Rather than treating financial decisions as a collection of universal rules, he focuses on the questions that sit underneath them: what has actually been agreed, which assumptions support a decision, what risks are being accepted, what happens when circumstances change, and who ultimately bears the consequence if those assumptions fail.

Tyronne is the author of Money Matters: The Financial Education You Should Have Been Taught, the first book in his Financial Education Series. The revised edition examines financial planning, debt, earning, spending, investment, financial behaviour and the everyday systems that shape financial outcomes. Its purpose is not to prescribe one correct way to manage money, but to give readers the knowledge and reasoning required to make better-informed decisions for themselves.

His second book, Debt-Free by 30: Conquer Your Loans and Achieve Financial Independence, develops the series further by examining debt, cash flow, repayment strategy, financial resilience and the practical difficulty of rebuilding financial choice when money is already under pressure.

Across his writing, Tyronne combines financial education with risk-based reasoning, behavioural insight and practical examples. His work reflects the realities of changing income, expensive housing, career decisions, debt, financial mistakes, investment choices, competing priorities and the difference between appearing financially successful and being financially resilient.

He is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association and holds a postgraduate qualification in Governance, Risk and Compliance. He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Compliance and Financial Crime in Digital Societies at the University of Manchester, with particular academic interest in digital finance, financial crime, emerging technologies and digital assets.

His wider professional work includes executive leadership, regulatory and compliance advisory work, governance, financial crime prevention, executive coaching and professional development.

Tyronne’s writing is built around a simple principle: financial literacy should help people understand the decisions in front of them, not merely tell them what to do.
