Vorwort Angeregt durch den Obmann einer Wiener Templer- Gemeinschaft fand sich der für die deutschsprachigen Länder zuständige Bischof der Liberalkatholischen Kirche, Msgr. Rudolf Hammer (1928 - 2001) im Jahre 1985 dazu bereit, in dem Meditations-haus Biotropikon" in den Bergen von Istrien eine Studienwoche zum Thema Die Eucharistie" abzuhalten. Bischof Hammer wählte dafür als Grundlage zwei angesehene esoterische Traditions-richtungen, deren Quellenmaterial er miteinander verglich. Es waren dies einerseits die sogenannte Neuoffenbarungen" des österreichischen Mystikers Jakob Lorber (der Schreibknecht Gottes", dessen diesbezüglichen Darlegungen von dem belgischen Theologen und Mystikspezialisten Prof. Robert Ernst (+ 1997) zusammengefasst und kommentiert worden waren. Auf der anderen Seite befanden sich die Bibel - Texte von dem ehemaligen römisch- katholischen Pfarrer und Reichstagsabgeordneten Johannes Greber (1874 - 1944), die dieser mit Hilfe jenseitiger Engelsgeister aus einem griechischen Urtext neu in die deutsche Sprache übersetzt hatte. Es war sehr interessant dabei zu sehen, in welche hohem Ausmaß sich eine Überein-stimmung dieser beiden jenseitig inspirierten Arbeiten erkennen ließen und wo es im Detail dennoch geringe Abweichungen gab.
