Dirk Blocker

Dirk Blocker was born and raised in Los Angeles, Ca. His father was Dan Blocker (Hoss on the 60’s NBC television show, Bonanza). Dirk’s earliest role of note was as Abel Mckay on Little House on the Prairie. His first series regular role was on Blacksheep Squadron, another successful NBC series. Later, film work included, The Border, Poltergeist and Starman, while also appearing on such classic tv series as: MASH, Newhart, 21 Jump Street, Matlock, The X-Files, ER, and Deadwood. In 1990 he married the love of his life, actress Danielle Aubuchon. With her steady support, Dirk returned to college, eventually obtaining a BA in Liberal Studies from Antioch University Santa Barbara. In 2013, he was cast in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the confidently clueless and all-around unique individual, Det. Michael Hitchcock.
