J. P. Vecchia writes dark epic fantasy shaped by questions of identity, loyalty, and survival. They have been writing for as long as they could read, creating fantasy maps in the corner of their math notebooks and writing RPG for more than a decade, crafting character-driven scenes driven by the very real characters in their head. Their stories explore the human–and inhuman–costs of power, often through characters who refuse to be tamed. When not writing, they can be found sketching maps, researching obscure folklore, or spending time with horses.
