These cvc decodable beginning readers can be used as a stand-alone program or with other research-based programs (Tier 1, 2, 3) and are ideal for kindergarten to grade 2 students, special education students, and English Language Learners. Each story is a complete lesson targeting the five pillars of reading (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension) while facilitating daily lesson planning.

Author Jennifer Makwana is a certified teacher at Ruth Rumack's Learning Space. She holds a Bachelor of Education and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Jennifer lives in Toronto with her husband and two children.
Rumack Resources is the publishing division of Ruth Rumack's Learning Space (RRLS), an educational support company specializing in early literacy. Since 1996, Ruth Rumack and her team have been providing individualized academic and special education support to students in Toronto, Canada.
