Right to Cancel Policy

General Policy
Due to the unique and collectible nature of the antique books we sell, all sales are considered final once shipped. However, we offer a limited Right to Cancel under specific conditions outlined below.

Right to Cancel Before Shipment
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet shipped. To request a cancellation:
Email us at rodengrove@gmail.com with your order number and "Cancel Request" in the subject line.
If your order has not yet been shipped, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund to your original payment method through AbeBooks.
- After Shipment
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or returned unless:
The item arrives damaged, or
The item was significantly misrepresented in the description.
In either case, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide:
Photos of the item and packaging, and
A detailed explanation of the issue.
We will assess the claim and, at our discretion, may offer a refund, partial refund, or store credit. Return shipping may be required and is the responsibility of the buyer unless the error was ours.

International Orders
International customers are also subject to this Right to Cancel Policy. Customs delays or import taxes do not qualify as a valid reason for cancellation or return once an item has shipped.

Refunds for Cancellations
If your cancellation request is approved before shipment, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method through your AbeBooks account. Please allow the time allotted by AbeBooks for processing the refund.

Non-Cancellable Orders
The following are not eligible for cancellation or refund:
Orders shipped and marked as delivered
Items sold as “final sale” or part of a clearance
Custom or specially requested book orders.
