Acerca de los autores: Steve Martin was born in Northumberland in the far north of England. After graduating in English, he spent many years teaching English to adults – including 15 years teaching literacy in prisons. Steve now lives in the English Midlands, with his wife and two sons and makes his living from a wide range of writing including children's non-fiction, business communication and developing e-learning materials. Steve has authored several non-fiction titles, including The Boys Book series, Survival: How to Survive Anything, Anywhere and I Wish I Knew That: Cool Stuff You Need to Know.

Dr Mike Goldsmith holds a PhD in astrophysics from Keele University, and has written 40 books on a range of scientific topics for children and adults. He was also twice winner of the Institute of Physics Science Writing Competition and the Junior Aventis Science Prize.

Marianne Taylor is a writer and editor whose career has been steered from the start by her obsessive interest in the natural world.
