The Seventh Joint Meeting of the u.s. Japan Panel on Wind and Seismic Effects was held in Tokyo, Japan on May 20-23, 1975. This panel is one of the twenty panels in the u.s. Japan Cooperative Program in Natural Resources (ujnr). The ujnr.was established in 1964 by the u.s. Japan Cabinet-level Committee on Trade and Economic Affairs. The purpose of the ujnr is to exchange scientific and technological information which will be mutually bene ficial to the economics and welfare of both countries. Accordingly, the purpose of the annual joint meeting of this panel is to exchange technical information on the latest re search and development activities within governmental agencies of both countries in the area of wind and seismic effects.
