Take babies and toddlers on an active, rhyming jaunt through changing seasons and blooming flowers in this sweet board book.
Underground, seeds sleep until spring. Rain comes, seeds sprout, and flowers burst into bloom!
This board book will help children get excited for springtime fun: watching new creatures in the garden, going on nature walks, and green plants growing everywhere!.
Amber Hendricks' short expressive lines with repeated action words make this poem perfect for sharing with babies and toddlers, and Gavin Scott's warm, cozy illustrations encourage all ages to appreciate nature.
For fans of Dear Zoo, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Barnyard Dance.
Acerca de los autores:
Amber Hendricks grew up with a passion for reading that melded into writing, and by age 11 she was writing and binding her own “books.” Amber has worn many hats in her career, but she has always circled back to her first love of telling stories, including Extraordinary Ordinary Ella for Amicus Ink. Amber currently resides in the United States with her husband and two children.
Gavin Scott was fascinated by the natural world from an early age and spent much of his childhood drawing and painting animals and birds. He later studied BA Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth Arts University. His style gradually evolved from scientific into children’s picture books. He now lives in Somerset, England, with his wife and their growing family.
