- Libro 17 de 19: Spiritual Uplifting Books
This book is an invitation to look at life honestly-without consolation, without escape, and without borrowed answers.
Most of us live with a quiet unease.
Life moves forward-work, family, success, failure, relationships-yet beneath it all runs a persistent feeling of incompleteness. We try to manage it through achievement, belief, spirituality, or self-improvement, but the unease returns.
This book does not attempt to comfort that unease. It seeks to understand it at its root.
Written as a series of teacher-student conversations, the book unfolds step by step, beginning with the most immediate human questions, unhappiness, confusion, and lack of meaning, and gradually moving toward the deepest inquiry of all: Who am I?
Rather than offering techniques or philosophies, the dialogues challenge the assumptions we live by:
- that suffering is personal
- that the mind is a reliable guide to peace
- that fulfillment lies in becoming something more
- that liberation belongs to another time, place, or life
The conversations explore why modern life feels directionless despite material progress, why most solutions provide only temporary relief, and why humanity has repeatedly produced awakened beings across cultures, not to create religions, but to point to a truth that was missed.
Drawing from the wisdom of Indian scriptures, especially Vedanta, the book introduces Sat (that which never changes) and Chit (that which knows all change), not as abstract ideas, but as direct pointers to lived reality. These insights are presented without religious framing, intellectual complexity, or mysticism.
As the inquiry deepens, attention turns inward:
What creates the sense of a separate "I"?
Why does identification feel so natural?
What prevents clarity right now?
Is liberation gradual or sudden?
What happens to karma, destiny, and rebirth when realization dawns?
The later chapters address life after understanding, not as an altered state, but as ordinary living without psychological burden. Relationships continue, action continues, life continues - but without the constant struggle to become complete.
This is not a book that asks for belief.
It does not promise experiences, powers, or rewards.
It does not position the author as an authority or the reader as a seeker to be fixed.
It simply invites careful attention.
If you are looking for another spiritual path, method, or system, this book may not satisfy you.
If you are willing to question what you have always assumed yourself to be, it may quietly dissolve questions you have carried for years.
The book ends where all genuine inquiry ends - not with answers, but with clarity.

Descripción de la tienda
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free.
