Stitched copies, 16 issues: 1862, 1864, 1869, 1870, 1874, 1878, 1879, 1884, 1887, 1889, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1896, 1897, 1901. Unstitched, 13 issues: 1865, 1888, 1890, 1891, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1906, 1907. TITLE: The 1898 and 1899 issues are titled The Wharfedale Family Almanac, the rest use Almanack in the title. CONTENTS AND PAGINATION: The text consists of advertisements, short articles, the almanac, and useful information. They are all unpaginated, varying roughly from 26 pages in the 1862 issue to 58 pages in the 1907 one. From the 1889 issue, separately printed advertisement pages were inserted into the middle of the almanac section, varying from 2 to 8 pages in length, mostly advertising books from a single publisher, but alternatively other products like pills, food for infants, and concoctions for corns. However, a number of issues (1893, 1894, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1905, 1906 and 1907) are without these inserted advertisement sections, possibly because none were issued that year, but possibly because they are lacking from these copies. CONDITION: The majority appear to have been unused. They may have been the publisher s own copies perhaps, or possibly overstocks. The majority are uncut and unopened. 13 issues have not been stitched. Essentially extremely good condition. Some sections in a few issues have frayed edges where these have been proud of the other sections. The 1862 issue has a torn page (without loss) and a frayed edge due to one section having been roughly opened. The 1878 issue has a worn spine. The 1890 issue has foxing on the front cover. Otherwise there is slight grubbiness to the covers of a few issues, and some corners are a little dog-eared. N° de ref. del artículo 3535
